We are looking for a skilled Accounting Clerk to join our team in Indianapolis, Indiana, for a 6-week contract position. This role is perfect for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a strong background in accounting support. In this position, you will contribute to key financial processes and ensure smooth operations within a fast-paced work environment.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Verify and review sales tax exemption documentation provided by customers.<br>• Upload financial records and documents into the company's internal system.<br>• Communicate with clients to resolve outstanding accounts receivable issues.<br>• Accurately post incoming payments to customer accounts.<br>• Utilize Microsoft Excel to filter data, apply formulas, and perform VLOOKUP functions for financial reporting and reconciliation.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting support or clerical finance roles.<br>• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of formulas, filters, and VLOOKUP functions.<br>• Familiarity with accounts receivable processes and data entry.<br>• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.<br>• Experience with invoice processing and handling financial documentation.<br>• Knowledge of sales tax regulations and exemption documentation.<br>• Ability to work on-site for the duration of the contract.
