Customer Service Representative
We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team on a contract basis in Greenvale, New York. In this role, you will provide exceptional support to the Student Affairs department, ensuring smooth communication and resolution of inquiries. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic environment while delivering excellent customer service.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Handle incoming and outgoing calls, providing timely and accurate responses to inquiries.<br>• Assist in screening calls to streamline communication and reduce the workload for the department.<br>• Troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly to ensure a seamless experience for students and staff.<br>• Maintain detailed records of interactions and resolutions for future reference.<br>• Collaborate with team members to address complex issues and provide comprehensive support.<br>• Uphold high standards of professionalism and empathy in all communications.<br>• Deliver clear and concise information to callers regarding department processes and services.<br>• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures while addressing inquiries.<br>• Identify opportunities to enhance the customer service experience and suggest improvements.
• Proven experience in customer service roles, preferably in an academic or student-focused environment.<br>• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey information clearly.<br>• Proficiency in handling inbound and outbound calls effectively.<br>• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently and efficiently.<br>• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records.<br>• Familiarity with customer service software or tools is a plus.<br>• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.<br>• High level of professionalism and commitment to delivering exceptional service.
