Human Resources (HR) Assistant
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team in Frisco, Texas. In this long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in supporting employee development and training initiatives while managing essential HR processes. This role requires a self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Organize and coordinate training sessions, including topics such as heat safety, harassment prevention, workplace violence, and performance management.<br>• Manage onboarding processes, including handling I-9 documentation and new employee software setup.<br>• Schedule and facilitate lunch-and-learn events and virtual training sessions via Teams.<br>• Develop and edit presentations for various departments and upload them to the Absorb platform.<br>• Monitor and track employee training completion to ensure compliance with organizational standards.<br>• Assist with conducting interviews and supporting recruitment efforts.<br>• Provide administrative support for employee development programs, such as Excel and analytical training.<br>• Maintain accurate records and ensure adherence to HR policies and procedures.
• Proficiency in HR systems, including Absorb, ADP Workforce Now, and Ceridian.<br>• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage various HR processes.<br>• Experience with onboarding, I-9 documentation, and background checks.<br>• Familiarity with creating and managing training schedules and materials.<br>• Excellent communication skills for coordinating teams and facilitating virtual training sessions.<br>• Ability to work independently and demonstrate a go-getter mentality.<br>• Knowledge of HRMS platforms and auditing processes.<br>• Customer service skills to support employees and address inquiries effectively.
