Admin Assistant
We are looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team in Foster City, California. In this role, you will serve as a Front Desk Coordinator, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while providing excellent service to clients and team members. This is a long-term contract position ideal for someone with expertise in administrative tasks and a strong understanding of insurance, billing, and referral processes.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Greet and assist visitors in a courteous and friendly manner, ensuring a welcoming environment.<br>• Manage front desk operations, including handling phone calls and directing inquiries to appropriate team members.<br>• Process insurance claims, billing, and copay transactions with accuracy and attention to detail.<br>• Maintain and update records using Epic software to ensure data integrity and compliance.<br>• Coordinate referrals by collaborating with providers and ensuring timely follow-ups.<br>• Monitor office supplies and coordinate with vendors to maintain inventory levels.<br>• Support team members with administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings and preparing documents.<br>• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, particularly in handling sensitive client information.
• Proven experience in administrative or front desk roles, preferably in a healthcare setting.<br>• Strong knowledge of insurance processes, billing procedures, and copay handling.<br>• Proficiency in using Epic software for record management and operations.<br>• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members.<br>• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.<br>• Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.<br>• Familiarity with referral processes and provider coordination is highly desirable.<br>• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in administration or healthcare is a plus.
