Responsibilities:• Process and manage medical billing tasks, ensuring all claims are submitted accurately and in a timely manner.• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments to ensure prompt resolution.• Utilize electronic medical records systems to maintain and update patient billing information.• Communicate with insurance companies and patients to address billing inquiries and discrepancies.• Reconcile account balances to ensure accuracy and identify any inconsistencies.• Prepare and distribute invoices and statements for patient accounts.• Collaborate with team members to streamline billing procedures and improve efficiency.• Maintain compliance with relevant regulations and policies related to medical billing and accounts receivable.• Generate regular reports detailing accounts receivable status and progress.• Assist with audits and provide documentation as requested.

• At least 1 year of experience in medical billing or accounts receivable.• Prior experience in utilizing Modernizing Medicine.• Strong understanding of medical billing processes and terminology.• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial data.• Effective communication skills for interacting with insurance companies and patients.• Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance standards.
