Logistics Coordinator
We are looking for a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Edison, New Jersey. In this role, you will play a key part in managing and optimizing the movement of goods through the supply chain, ensuring compliance and efficiency. This is a long-term contract position that requires onsite presence, offering a dynamic and collaborative work environment.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Monitor and ensure compliance with Importer Security Filing (ISF) regulations for all shipments.<br>• Track and trace shipments across air, ocean, and land transportation using online tools.<br>• Manage and process shipping documents through a digital workflow system.<br>• Input shipment and logistics data into the CargoWise operating system accurately and efficiently.<br>• Communicate customs clearance, delivery instructions, and required information to all relevant stakeholders.<br>• Finalize shipment files, calculate billing charges, and prepare invoices in a paperless environment.<br>• Investigate and resolve issues related to delayed or problematic shipments.<br>• Collaborate with clients and suppliers to maintain a high standard of service and operational performance.<br>• Perform additional logistics-related tasks as assigned to support business operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.<br>• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.<br>• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise with clients and partners.<br>• Ability to manage multiple priorities, solve problems, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.<br>• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative.<br>• Experience or familiarity with logistics systems, such as CargoWise, is a plus.<br>• College degree in a related field preferred but not required.<br>• A desire to grow professionally and contribute to team success.
