We are looking for a skilled Payroll Manager to oversee and manage payroll operations with precision and compliance. In this role, you will lead a team of payroll specialists, ensuring efficient processes and adherence to regulations. This is a long-term contract position based in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. Responsibilities: • Lead, mentor, and support a team of payroll professionals, fostering skill development and performance growth. • Manage and oversee all payroll operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in payroll processing. • Identify and implement improvements to enhance payroll efficiency and minimize errors. • Collaborate with the finance team to maintain accurate tax filings and balance the general ledger. • Resolve system-related issues in coordination with internal teams and ensure software updates are implemented effectively. • Stay informed about federal, state, and local payroll regulations to maintain compliance. • Assist HR representatives with escalated employee payroll inquiries to ensure resolution. • Handle payroll adjustments, garnishments, and special requests with efficiency and attention to detail. • Ensure all payroll-related activities align with company policies and standards for quality and professionalism.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience. • At least 10 years of payroll management experience, including multi-state payroll processing. • Expertise in handling payroll for large organizations with over 500 employees. • Proficiency in payroll software such as ADP Workforce Now, UKG Pro, and Oracle Fusion. • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations. • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including formula creation and analysis. • Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and analytical abilities. • Certified Payroll Certification (CPP) preferred.
