We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Dallas, Texas. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of accounting principles and practices, with a focus on cash flow management and reconciliation processes. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual to contribute to critical financial operations and audits. This is a 3-month contract position. 100% REMOTE. Interim Senior Accountant (contract position to cover a medical leave):Responsibilities:• Develop and maintain cash flow templates to support audit procedures and financial reviews.• Perform detailed cash flow roll-forward analysis to ensure accuracy and compliance.• Manage month-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.• Reconcile cash accounts and balance sheets, identifying and resolving discrepancies.• Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring accurate financial reporting.• Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audit requirements.• Utilize advanced Excel skills to create and analyze financial reports.• Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure proper documentation of financial transactions.• Support financial operations by improving processes and ensuring compliance with organizational policies.

• Proven experience in accounting processes, including general ledger management and reconciliations. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis. • Strong knowledge of cash flow management and template creation. • Experience with month-end close procedures and journal entries. • Familiarity with balance sheet reconciliations and resolving discrepancies. • Prior experience with internal or external audits is highly desirable. • Ability to perform detailed bank reconciliations and financial reporting. • Working knowledge of Sage Intacct or similar accounting software is preferred.
