Senior Accountant
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Terrell, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing key accounting functions, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and preparing accurate financial reports. This is an onsite position offering career growth opportunities and health benefits.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Maintain and update the general ledger to ensure accurate and timely financial data.<br>• Reconcile bank statements with company financial records to identify and resolve discrepancies.<br>• Prepare comprehensive financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.<br>• Record financial transactions by preparing and posting journal entries.<br>• Manage the preparation and filing of sales tax returns for multiple states.<br>• Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and addressing inquiries.<br>• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.<br>• Reconcile intercompany accounts and transactions across multiple business locations.<br>• Assist in setting up and managing financial accounts, including client and employee accounts, as needed.
<p>• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.</p><p>• Minimum of 3 years of full cycle accounting.</p><p>• Public accounting experience is highly preferred.</p><p>• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).</p><p>• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.</p><p>• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.</p><p>• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</p><p>• Effective communication and teamwork capabilities.</p>
