We are looking for a skilled Accounting Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Comstock Park, Michigan. In this role, you will provide critical accounting support to ensure smooth operations during a contract assignment. This position requires strong technical expertise, particularly in Microsoft Excel, and focuses on managing Accounts Payable and Receivable, along with other key financial processes. Responsibilities: • Manage and process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions with precision and timeliness. • Prepare and post journal entries while ensuring accuracy in financial records. • Conduct bank reconciliations to maintain alignment with financial data. • Assist in year-end inventory activities and perform detailed account analysis. • Ensure adherence to company accounting policies and industry standards. • Utilize Epicor software for efficient financial data management and reporting. • Collaborate with team members to streamline billing and payment processes. • Support data entry tasks to maintain accurate and organized financial records. • Provide assistance with accrual calculations and adjustments. • Identify and resolve discrepancies in accounting processes to uphold accuracy.

• Demonstrated experience in managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.• Proficiency in preparing journal entries and performing accrual calculations.• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.• Familiarity with Epicor or similar accounting software.• Strong attention to detail and technical aptitude in accounting processes.• Ability to complete bank reconciliations and maintain accurate records.• Experience with inventory-related accounting tasks and account analysis.
