Responsibilities: • Manage daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and reconciliations. • Prepare journal entries and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes to ensure accuracy. • Develop and present financial reports tailored to construction projects, property management, and investment activities. • Collaborate with project managers to track project costs, manage budgets, and ensure accurate job cost allocations. • Handle property-level accounting functions such as rent collection, lease agreement reviews, and cost allocation across multiple properties. • Monitor cash flows and tax implications related to company investments, including LLCs and partnerships. • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations while preparing documentation for tax filings and audits. • Identify and implement process improvements to optimize workflows and enhance reporting efficiency. • Work closely with management and other departments to support organizational goals and provide financial insights. • Participate in special projects and ad hoc reporting to assist with strategic initiatives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • At least 1 year of accounting experience, preferably in construction, real estate, or related industries. • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Yardi, along with advanced Excel skills. • Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards. • Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple priorities effectively. • High attention to detail and accuracy combined with strong analytical abilities. • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment. • Solid communication skills to interact effectively with vendors, clients, and internal teams.
