Office Manager
<p>We are looking for a meticulous and proactive part-time Office Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our office in Columbus, Ohio. This contract position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys creating a welcoming and efficient workplace for both employees and visitors. The role includes managing office operations, coordinating events, and supporting employee engagement initiatives.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Oversee daily office operations, ensuring a well-organized and productive environment.</p><p>• Manage office facilities, equipment maintenance, and vendor relationships, including scheduling necessary improvements.</p><p>• Track and report office budgets, expenses, and inventory while ensuring supplies are adequately stocked.</p><p>• Administer building access, parking permits, and security badges for staff.</p><p>• Coordinate employee engagement activities such as team lunches, holiday events, and offsite gatherings.</p><p>• Greet and assist visitors, clients, and couriers to maintain a welcoming atmosphere.</p><p>• Set up and troubleshoot basic office technology while collaborating with IT for new employee onboarding.</p><p>• Organize schedules and logistics for visiting business partners and leadership meetings.</p><p>• Arrange catering, meeting room setups, and physical spaces to ensure a seamless experience for guests and events.</p><p>• Maintain systems for tracking assets in on-site storage units and support fleet management for company vehicles.</p>
• At least 2 years of experience in office management or administrative coordination.<br>• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.<br>• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, focused on delivering outstanding customer service.<br>• Proficiency in managing budgets, expenses, and vendor relationships.<br>• Comfort with setting up and troubleshooting basic office technology.<br>• Experience coordinating events and schedules for meetings or gatherings.<br>• Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook and other office management software.<br>• Background in engineering, renewable energy, or detail-oriented fields is a plus.
