Accounts Receivable Specialist
<p>We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team on a contract basis. Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, this role focuses on managing financial transactions, ensuring accurate billing, and maintaining strong relationships with clients to optimize cash flow. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in accounts receivable processes and a commitment to delivering high-quality results. Netsuite experience ideal. </p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Oversee accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, payment processing, and account reconciliation.</p><p>• Manage cash applications to ensure timely and accurate allocation of payments.</p><p>• Handle commercial collections by communicating with clients regarding outstanding balances and resolving payment issues.</p><p>• Perform billing activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.</p><p>• Monitor daily cash activity and prepare related reports to support financial planning.</p><p>• Collaborate with internal teams to address discrepancies and improve processes.</p><p>• Maintain detailed records of all transactions and correspondence for audit purposes.</p><p>• Provide exceptional customer service when addressing client inquiries related to accounts receivable.</p><p>• Assist in the implementation or improvement of systems related to accounts receivable processes.</p><p>• Support month-end and year-end closing activities by preparing necessary documentation.</p>
• Proven experience in accounts receivable, including cash applications and billing.<br>• Strong knowledge of commercial collections practices and procedures.<br>• Proficiency in managing daily cash activities and preparing financial reports.<br>• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and internal teams.<br>• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in handling financial transactions.<br>• Familiarity with accounting software and tools used for accounts receivable.<br>• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.<br>• Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards in accounts receivable.
