Project Assistant
We are looking for a Project Assistant to support the execution of two major events for our client in Brooklyn, New York. This contract position requires strong organizational skills, adaptability, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The role involves assisting with event setup, coordination, and providing on-site support to ensure smooth operations.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Assist with the setup and organization of event spaces, ensuring all materials and equipment are properly arranged.<br>• Provide on-site support during events, including managing attendee inquiries and addressing logistical needs.<br>• Coordinate with event staff to ensure smooth transitions and adherence to schedules.<br>• Manage inbound calls and respond promptly to requests or questions related to the events.<br>• Support event ushers in directing attendees and ensuring they have a positive experience.<br>• Stay flexible and available to work extended hours if required to meet event demands.<br>• Collaborate with team members to address any last-minute changes or challenges.<br>• Maintain clear and effective communication with all stakeholders throughout the event.<br>• Ensure all event-related tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards.<br>• Assist with post-event wrap-up, including organizing materials and providing feedback for future improvements.
• Prior experience in event coordination or project assistance roles.<br>• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with attendees and team members effectively.<br>• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize under tight deadlines.<br>• Proficiency in handling inbound calls and addressing inquiries professionally.<br>• Flexibility to work longer hours or adapt to last-minute changes as needed.<br>• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.<br>• Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and maintain a positive attitude.<br>• Familiarity with event logistics and customer service best practices.
