Office Assistant
We are looking for a dedicated Office Assistant to join our team in Boston, Massachusetts. In this long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in ensuring the office operates efficiently and provides a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. If you are organized, proactive, and enjoy supporting day-to-day operations, this role offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a thriving workplace.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Maintain accurate visitor logs and greet guests and employees with professionalism, offering assistance as necessary.<br>• Organize and upkeep office spaces, supply areas, and communal spaces to ensure cleanliness and order.<br>• Monitor and replenish office supplies, snacks, and essentials to maintain a fully stocked and organized environment.<br>• Facilitate employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including setting up workstations, preparing badges, and managing laptop logistics.<br>• Coordinate office events, such as weekly lunches, happy hours, and other gatherings, ensuring seamless execution.<br>• Update and manage shared office documents, ensuring records remain accurate and current.<br>• Handle errands such as picking up orders from local vendors to support office needs.<br>• Perform administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations and address any ad hoc requirements.
• Proven experience in office administration or a similar role.<br>• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for managing records and data.<br>• Ability to handle bulk mailings efficiently and accurately.<br>• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.<br>• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact effectively with team members and visitors.<br>• Capability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities in a dynamic environment.<br>• Familiarity with basic office equipment and tools.<br>• High level of professionalism and reliability in handling confidential information.
