Accounts Payable Clerk
<p>We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Boca Raton, Florida. This position is within the service industry, offering an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment supporting operations across multiple locations. In this role, you will handle a variety of tasks to ensure smooth and efficient accounts payable processes.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Process and record invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely payment for all vendor accounts.</p><p>• Maintain organized records of transactions and documentation to support compliance and audits.</p><p>• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, collaborating with vendors and internal teams.</p><p>• Manage high-volume accounts payable operations for multiple locations, ensuring consistency and accuracy.</p><p>• Handle daily collection calls to follow up on outstanding payments and refunds.</p><p>• Set up and maintain client accounts, including processing account requests and updates.</p><p>• Scan, code, and approve purchase orders, maintaining appropriate documentation for general ledger entries.</p><p>• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships, serving as the primary contact for accounts payable inquiries.</p><p>• Assist with onboarding new vendors and updating information for existing vendors.</p><p>• Research and troubleshoot payment issues to ensure smooth financial operations.</p>
• Proven experience in accounts payable or a related role.<br>• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.<br>• Proficiency in data entry and record management.<br>• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to manage vendor inquiries effectively.<br>• Solid time management abilities to handle high-volume tasks efficiently.<br>• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.<br>• Experience with Ariba or M3 systems is a plus.<br>• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
