Part Time HR Generalist
<p>Robert Half is seeking an experienced and proactive <strong>Part-Time HR Generalist</strong> to support a dynamic local manufacturing company. This onsite opportunity is ideal for a human resources professional who thrives in a hands-on role and can independently manage all HR functions in a smaller organizational setting. </p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Serve as the sole HR representative in the facility, acting as the first point of contact for employees and leadership for HR-related matters.</li><li>Oversee the full-life-cycle recruitment process, including posting job ads, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and onboarding new hires.</li><li>Manage benefits enrollment, personnel records maintenance, and semi-monthly payroll processing support.</li><li>Develop and ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and legal compliance with labor laws.</li><li>Handle employee relations by addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and promoting a workplace culture of open communication.</li><li>Coordinate employee training and development programs to meet organizational goals.</li><li>Assist in performance evaluation processes and provide insight on employee career development.</li><li>Generate HR-related reports and maintain documentation for audit purposes.</li><li>Stay updated on applicable federal, state, and local regulations impacting HR operations for manufacturing environments.</li></ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; HR certification (PHR/SPHR or equivalent) is a plus.</li><li>Minimum of 3-5 years of HR generalist experience, preferably within the manufacturing or industrial sector.</li><li>Proven ability to work independently and effectively in a standalone HR capacity.</li><li>Knowledge of employment laws and regulations applicable to manufacturing environments.</li><li>Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.</li><li>Experience with HRIS systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).</li><li>Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.</li></ul><p><strong>Details:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Schedule:</strong> Part-Time, flexible days and hours. <strong><u>Position will move to FT after a few months.</u></strong></li><li><strong>Contract Duration: </strong>4-7 months</li></ul><p>If you are a hands-on HR professional who excels in independent work and enjoys wearing many hats, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
