This role can look at someone with 5+ years in public accounting looking to make a move into the private sector or an experienced Sr. Accountant. Sr. Accountant Responsibilities:• Oversee and execute month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring all financial transactions are properly recorded.• Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring alignment with accounting principles and organizational policies.• Conduct account reconciliations, identifying discrepancies and resolving them promptly.• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between company records and bank statements.• Analyze financial accounts to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or in a similar role. • Strong knowledge of general ledger management and financial reporting. • Proficiency in preparing journal entries and conducting account reconciliations. • Familiarity with bank reconciliation processes and accounting software. • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills. • Strong organizational and time-management abilities. • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
