Accounts Payable Specialist
We are looking for a skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Bedford, Massachusetts. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in ensuring smooth financial operations by managing invoice coding, payment processing, and other critical accounts payable functions. If you have a strong attention to detail and experience in handling payment systems, we encourage you to apply.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Accurately code and process invoices in compliance with company policies.<br>• Manage accounts payable operations, including Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments and check runs.<br>• Ensure timely and accurate payment processing to vendors and suppliers.<br>• Reconcile accounts payable transactions to maintain financial accuracy.<br>• Assist in resolving discrepancies related to invoices and payments.<br>• Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper account coding and financial reporting.<br>• Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all accounts payable activities.<br>• Monitor payment schedules and ensure adherence to deadlines.<br>• Support periodic audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
• Proven experience in accounts payable or a related financial role.<br>• Proficiency in invoice coding and payment processing systems.<br>• Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) and check runs.<br>• Strong organizational and time-management skills.<br>• Attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in financial operations.<br>• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.<br>• Knowledge of relevant accounting principles and practices.
