Responsibilities:• Supervise and coordinate core accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.• Direct and manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate reconciliations and journal entries.• Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, maintaining compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.• Develop, implement, and monitor internal control systems to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.• Mentor and guide the accounting team, setting clear objectives, providing constructive feedback, and supporting their growth and development.• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local tax regulations while aligning with corporate policies.• Collaborate with departments such as operations and HR to address financial challenges and support business strategies.• Identify and implement process improvements, including automation initiatives and system upgrades, to enhance efficiency.• Partner with senior leadership to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.

<ol><li>Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance/Related Field</li><li>5+ years of progressive accounting experience</li><li>2+ years in a management position</li><li>Strong knowledge of GAAP</li><li>Experience in an ERP…Epicor a plus</li><li>Good tenure with limited movement</li><li>Manufacturing industry</li><li>Experience in cost accounting a plus</li></ol>
