Administrative Assistant
We are looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support the daily operations of a health services organization in Baltimore, Maryland. This contract position offers the opportunity to contribute to essential administrative tasks while providing excellent service to clients and staff. The role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Welcome and assist clients and visitors, ensuring a positive and attentive experience.<br>• Perform a variety of administrative tasks, including maintaining organized files and handling data entry responsibilities.<br>• Support the HR department with onboarding processes and scheduling activities.<br>• Respond to inquiries via phone and email, delivering accurate and timely information.<br>• Verify insurance details for clients and update records as necessary.<br>• Manage client waitlists and coordinate appointments efficiently.<br>• Process payments, record checks, and maintain accurate financial documentation.<br>• Utilize Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint to complete daily tasks.<br>• Schedule meetings and appointments, ensuring smooth operations.<br>• Handle additional duties as assigned to support the team.
• Proven experience in administrative roles, demonstrating proficiency in customer service and organizational tasks.<br>• Strong skills in answering inbound and outbound calls, with effective communication abilities.<br>• Proficiency in data entry and maintaining accurate records.<br>• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.<br>• Ability to manage email correspondence professionally and efficiently.<br>• Experience coordinating schedules and managing appointments.<br>• Capability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.<br>• Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to maintaining accuracy in all work.
