We are looking for a highly motivated Staff Accountant to join our team in Youngstown, Ohio. In this Contract-to-Permanent role, you will play a key part in maintaining the financial health of our manufacturing operations by preparing reports, reconciling accounts, and supporting financial planning processes. Responsibilities: • Prepare and post journal entries to ensure accurate and timely financial records. • Reconcile general ledger accounts and bank statements to maintain financial accuracy. • Assist in the preparation of financial statements in compliance with established accounting standards. • Conduct detailed account analysis and resolve discrepancies promptly. • Support accounts payable and receivable functions to ensure smooth cash flow operations. • Collaborate on budgeting and forecasting processes to aid in strategic planning. • Maintain and update fixed asset schedules to support accurate reporting. • Provide documentation and schedules during audits to ensure compliance. • Develop and refine accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency. • Perform additional accounting duties as assigned to support team goals.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • A minimum of 1–3 years of accounting experience, including internships. • Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks or NetSuite. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in work. • Effective organizational and time-management skills. • Ability to work independently and thrive in a collaborative team environment.
