We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey. In this hybrid role, you'll work onsite Monday through Thursday and remotely on Fridays, contributing to essential financial operations. This is a Contract-to-ongoing position, offering an opportunity for long-term growth within the company. Responsibilities: • Reconcile vendor accounts and oversee account reconciliations to ensure accuracy. • Process daily invoices using a 3-way match system to verify transactions. • Execute wire transactions and reconcile payments before month-end deadlines. • Prepare and maintain cash forecast reports to support financial planning. • Ensure timely processing of vendor payments and outstanding invoices. • Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding account information. • Organize and maintain Accounts Payable files for paid and pending invoices. • Assist in the preparation and execution of year-end close processes. • Reconcile trial balance and general ledger accounts as needed. • Support management with ad hoc reporting and analysis requests.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is preferred, though equivalent experience in Accounts Payable is acceptable. • 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting functions, including journal entries, reconciliations, and closing processes. • Familiarity with forecasting, budgeting, and cost/benefit analysis. • Experience with manufacturing or unit costing is a plus. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, along with solid knowledge of Outlook and Word. • Knowledge of accounting software systems, ERP platforms, and automated clearing systems. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
