Office Services Associate
We are looking for an organized and proactive Office Services Associate to join our team in Washington, District of Columbia on a contract basis. In this role, you will support daily office operations, ensuring smooth functionality and a meticulous environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong customer service skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting while juggling multiple responsibilities effectively.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Maintain office supplies and snacks by monitoring inventory levels and restocking as needed.<br>• Provide reception desk coverage during lunch breaks and other absences, ensuring a welcoming and meticulous environment for visitors.<br>• Coordinate and set up catered lunches for approximately 100 people twice a week, including receiving deliveries, organizing food presentation, and maintaining cleanliness during meal service.<br>• Assist with workstation setup for new hires and tidy up workspaces when employees depart.<br>• Support office moves by helping employees transition between spaces as the office expands.<br>• Handle mail and package logging, distribution, and delivery, ensuring timely and accurate processing.<br>• Assist with copying, binding, and scanning tasks, as well as troubleshooting office machinery when necessary.<br>• Uphold quality standards by ensuring documents and materials are prepared accurately and with attention to detail.<br>• Collaborate with team members and clients to deliver exceptional service and meet operational needs.<br>• Maintain accurate logs and records for office supplies, mail, and other operational activities.
• Proven experience in a customer service or hospitality role, such as in a restaurant, hotel, or similar fast-paced environment.<br>• Ability to stay calm under pressure and handle multiple tasks effectively.<br>• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a variety of personalities.<br>• Detail-oriented approach and excellent communication skills.<br>• Familiarity with office equipment, including printers, scanners, and copiers.<br>• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.<br>• Ability to follow established office procedures and policies.<br>• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and support various office functions as needed.
