Accounting Specialist
<p>Robert Half is partnering with our client for an Accounting Specialist opening in Monmouth County. This role involves managing financial transactions, overseeing billing processes, and ensuring accurate reconciliation of accounts. If you thrive in a detail-oriented environment and have a strong background in accounting, we encourage you to apply.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Process accounts payable transactions, including reviewing invoices and ensuring timely payments.</p><p>• Manage accounts receivable by tracking payments, generating invoices, and resolving discrepancies.</p><p>• Perform account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.</p><p>• Handle billing functions, including preparing and distributing invoices to clients.</p><p>• Assist with general office clerical tasks related to accounting operations.</p><p>• Maintain organized financial documentation and ensure compliance with company policies.</p><p>• Collaborate with team members to address financial inquiries and provide support as needed.</p><p>• Generate reports and summaries to assist with financial decision-making processes.</p><p>• Ensure adherence to accounting standards and procedures in all tasks.</p>
<p>• Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.</p><p>• Familiarity with billing functions and account reconciliation.</p><p>• Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and practices.</p><p>• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.</p><p>• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.</p><p>• Experience in clerical tasks related to accounting is a plus.</p>
