In this role, you will be responsible for managing the billing and claims process to ensure efficient reimbursement and compliance with insurance regulations. Responsibilities: • Process and submit insurance claims with precision, ensuring timely and accurate submission. • Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility prior to claim processing. • Investigate and resolve insurance denials, discrepancies, and underpayments by coordinating with payers and internal teams. • Communicate effectively with insurance providers and patients to clarify billing information and address inquiries. • Maintain meticulous records of claim statuses, updating accounts with payment and follow-up activities. • Ensure compliance with insurance guidelines and regulatory requirements while protecting patient confidentiality. • Collaborate with finance and patient access teams to optimize reimbursement cycles and streamline processes. • Utilize electronic medical records and billing software to manage claims efficiently. • Identify and implement solutions to improve billing accuracy and reduce claim rejections. • Support the team in achieving organizational goals related to revenue cycle management.

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree or certification in a related field is a plus. • Proven experience in medical billing, including claims submission and follow-up. • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and insurance policies. • Proficiency in using electronic medical records and billing software. • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. • Effective communication skills for collaborating with insurance companies, patients, and team members. • Problem-solving abilities to address billing discrepancies and resolve issues. • Understanding of compliance standards and confidentiality in healthcare billing.
