We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the daily activities of a dynamic heavy equipment service yard in Suffolk, Virginia. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and excel at driving efficiency, we encourage you to apply.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Supervise all site operations, including scheduling work, optimizing workflows, and managing installations.<br>• Monitor production targets to ensure efficient handling, storage, and maintenance of equipment.<br>• Develop and manage training programs for technicians and other staff to enhance team performance.<br>• Lead initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency and minimizing equipment downtime.<br>• Ensure all work adheres to established safety protocols and quality standards.<br>• Organize and maintain site inventory, equipment readiness, and overall yard management.<br>• Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement cost control measures to achieve operational goals.<br>• Collaborate with other branches and assist in setting up new service locations as needed.

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in heavy equipment services or operations management.<br>• Strong technical expertise in machinery and attachment installation.<br>• Demonstrated leadership skills with a proven ability to develop and manage teams.<br>• Proficient in interpreting technical manuals and quality specifications.<br>• Familiarity with job-tracking systems, with NetSuite experience being a plus.<br>• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel occasionally.<br>• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a solution-oriented mindset.<br>• Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
