Contracts Manager
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Contracts Manager to join our team on a contract basis in Secaucus, New Jersey. In this role, you will oversee lease administration processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with organizational standards. This is a dynamic position that requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Oversee all lease administration functions, ensuring accurate setup and management of leases, amendments, assignments, terminations, and license agreements.<br>• Review and verify all lease documentation for accuracy and ensure updates are properly entered into the real estate database.<br>• Ensure rent expenses are billed accurately and in compliance with valid lease agreements.<br>• Respond to landlord inquiries, address billing discrepancies, and perform reconciliations as needed.<br>• Manage and maintain lease statements, including operating expense true-ups, rent increases, and security deposits.<br>• Prepare and review tenant sales reports, calculate percentage rents, and ensure timely submission by set deadlines.<br>• Build and maintain positive relationships with landlords and other key stakeholders.<br>• Develop and optimize real estate processes to improve departmental efficiency.<br>• Reconcile accounts by validating and posting transactions, addressing discrepancies, and ensuring accuracy.<br>• Lead and support special projects as assigned by senior management.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate administration or lease management in a leadership role.<br>• Advanced degree in real estate, business administration, finance, or a related field.<br>• Proven expertise in corporate real estate, lease accounting, and team management.<br>• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand and address complex issues.<br>• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and guide team members.<br>• Proficiency in bookkeeping software, Office applications, and finance tools such as Tririga, Excel, and Smart View.<br>• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage large datasets efficiently.<br>• A demonstrated ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to evolving processes and systems.
