We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Accountant to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Secaucus, New Jersey. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to process financial data accurately and efficiently. This is a great opportunity for individuals passionate about accounting to grow their skills in a supportive and dynamic environment.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Accurately process and record financial transactions in compliance with company policies and procedures.<br>• Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure smooth communication and workflow.<br>• Conduct basic financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making processes.<br>• Maintain and organize financial records with a high level of attention to detail.<br>• Utilize Excel and other computer tools to manage data and generate reports.<br>• Communicate effectively with customers and branch representatives to resolve inquiries.<br>• Assist in preparing journal entries and understanding basic accounting principles.<br>• Access payment company websites to retrieve and analyze transaction details.<br>• Contribute to building a positive and cohesive team environment through flexibility and professionalism.

• Degree in Accounting preferred, but candidates with strong math skills and an understanding of journal entries are encouraged to apply.<br>• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with financial data tools such as Bloomberg Terminal.<br>• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks with precision.<br>• Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers, colleagues, and branch representatives.<br>• Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze and process financial data accurately.<br>• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new systems and procedures.<br>• Collaborative mindset and a positive attitude to foster teamwork.
