Receptionist
We are looking for a detail-oriented and friendly Receptionist for a short-term contract position in Scotts Valley, California. This role involves managing front office operations, performing clerical duties, and providing excellent customer service to ensure smooth daily operations. The position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and a proactive mindset.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Answer and direct incoming calls using a multi-line phone system with professionalism and efficiency.<br>• Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including creating package slips and preparing FedEx shipments.<br>• Stamp and organize outgoing mail to ensure timely delivery.<br>• Perform basic clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and document organization.<br>• Provide support to the accounting department with low-volume administrative tasks.<br>• Maintain a welcoming and organized front office environment.<br>• Utilize Microsoft Outlook for email communication and scheduling.<br>• Operate standard office equipment such as printers, scanners, and copiers.<br>• Handle inquiries and assist visitors with a friendly and detail-oriented demeanor.<br>• Ensure daily tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• At least one year of experience in clerical or administrative roles.<br>• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and familiarity with general office equipment.<br>• Excellent customer service skills and a detail-oriented approach to phone etiquette.<br>• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.<br>• Ability to work effectively in a front office environment.<br>• Attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks.<br>• Open to candidates with varying levels of educational background.<br>• Availability to work consistent hours during the two-week contract period.
