Property Administrator
We are looking for a dedicated Property Administrator to join our team in San Francisco, California. In this Contract-to-Permanent position, you will play a crucial role in connecting veterans with housing opportunities and ensuring their successful transition into stable living environments. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting diverse communities and contributing to a non-profit mission.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Assist veterans in locating suitable housing options and facilitate their move-in processes.<br>• Establish and nurture relationships with landlords and maintain a comprehensive database of available properties.<br>• Match clients with housing opportunities based on eligibility criteria and individual needs.<br>• Negotiate rental agreements, conduct housing inspections, and review lease terms to ensure compliance.<br>• Provide guidance to clients on housing retention strategies, including eviction prevention measures.<br>• Deliver tenant education programs and collaborate with case managers to address client-specific challenges.<br>• Maintain precise and up-to-date records, ensuring timely and accurate data entry.<br>• Support clients in navigating housing-related services and resources effectively.
• High school diploma required; a bachelor’s degree in social services is preferred.<br>• Minimum of one year of experience in housing support, real estate, or social services is advantageous.<br>• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to handle crisis situations and deliver exceptional customer service.<br>• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Yardi software is highly desirable.<br>• Strong ability to work independently while engaging effectively with diverse populations.<br>• Knowledge of property management and leasing processes is highly valued.<br>• Previous experience in residential or commercial property management is a plus.
