<p><strong>Fund Accountant – Private Equity Fund-of-Funds | San Francisco, CA</strong></p><p>A global private equity fund-of-funds is seeking a <strong>Fund Accountant</strong> to join its San Francisco office. This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career accounting professional to gain exposure to international markets, complex fund structures, and a highly collaborative team environment.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>About the Role:</strong></p><p>You’ll be a key member of a 20-person accounting team, supporting fund and GP accounting, financial reporting, audits, and investor communications. The firm offers strong career development, competitive compensation growth, and a unique shadow carry plan.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Maintain fund and GP general ledgers, including investment transactions and allocations</li><li>Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements</li><li>Assist with annual audits and tax filings</li><li>Monitor fund cash positions and process capital calls/distributions</li><li>Respond to investor inquiries in coordination with Investor Relations</li><li>Support ad hoc reporting and special projects</li></ul><p><br></p>

<p><strong>Ideal Candidate:</strong></p><ul><li>1.5–4 years of experience in fund accounting or public audit (investment management clients preferred)</li><li>Degree in Accounting, Business, or Economics</li><li>CPA or CPA-track preferred</li><li>Strong organizational and time management skills</li><li>Professional presence and collaborative mindset</li><li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment</li></ul>
