<p>We are looking for an experienced Property Accountant to join our team in the San Fernando Valley. In this Contract-to-Permanent position, you will play a vital role in overseeing the financial operations for a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial, retail, and development properties. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with expertise in property accounting and a strong command of Yardi Voyager.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Manage all aspects of property accounting, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations.</p><p>• Oversee daily cash flow and intercompany banking transactions to ensure financial stability and liquidity.</p><p>• Prepare and analyze property budgets and financial forecasts to support strategic decision-making.</p><p>• Generate accurate monthly and annual financial reports in compliance with industry standards.</p><p>• Review tenant payment records and lease agreements while ensuring accurate billing and collections.</p><p>• Maintain adherence to industry-specific accounting guidelines and establish strong internal controls.</p><p>• Utilize Yardi Voyager software to perform property accounting functions, including system setup and reporting.</p><p>• Handle construction draw schedules, job cost tracking, and other development-related accounting tasks.</p>

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in property accounting, preferably within the real estate industry.<br>• Proficiency in Yardi Voyager software for property management and accounting tasks.<br>• Strong knowledge of full-cycle accounting processes, including general ledger and accrual accounting.<br>• Demonstrated expertise in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.<br>• Solid understanding of tenant and lease accounting principles.<br>• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.<br>• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
