We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior Fund Accountant to join our team in Los Angeles, California. This well established asset management firm offers a hybrid schedule with a well established team. The role involves overseeing critical accounting functions, ensuring compliance with financial standards, and contributing to the accuracy of financial reporting. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in fund accounting and a strong understanding of general ledger processes. Responsibilities:• Perform month-end close activities, including preparing and reviewing journal entries to ensure accuracy and completeness.• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger accounts, ensuring all financial transactions are properly recorded.• Conduct thorough account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.• Prepare and review bank reconciliations to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.• Manage fund accounting activities, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.• Collaborate with internal teams to support audits and provide necessary documentation.• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.• Develop and implement best practices to improve efficiency within the accounting processes.• Assist in preparing financial reports and statements for management review.• Ensure all accounting procedures align with company policies and regulatory requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA license is a +• Proven experience in fund accounting, with a strong understanding of accounting principles.• Proficiency in performing month-end close processes, financial reporting, and general ledger maintenance.• Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.• Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work within cross-functional teams.• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
