Spanish/ English Customer Service Representative
<p><strong>Bilingual Spanish Customer Service Representative – Nonprofit (Homelessness & Community Assistance)</strong></p><p> <strong>Location:</strong> Onsite (Hybrid eligible after ~6 months)</p><p> <strong>Type:</strong> Contract-to-Hire</p><p> <strong>Start Date:</strong> Early January</p><p> <strong>Schedule:</strong> Full-time, Standard Business Hours (Shifts between 8AM–6PM)</p><p><strong>About the Opportunity:</strong></p><p> We are seeking compassionate, mission-driven <strong>Bilingual Spanish Customer Service Representatives</strong> to join a nonprofit dedicated to supporting individuals facing homelessness, food insecurity, and housing challenges. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about serving the community and wants to build a long-term career in social services.</p><p>You’ll be the first point of contact for clients seeking help, providing information, support, and referrals to essential programs. The role begins fully onsite, with potential hybrid flexibility after approximately six months based on performance and reliability.</p><p><strong>What You’ll Do:</strong></p><ul><li>Answer inbound calls from community members seeking assistance with homelessness services, food programs, housing resources, and other essential needs.</li><li>Communicate with clients in <strong>both English and Spanish</strong>, offering patient, compassionate support.</li><li>Gather information, assess needs, and provide accurate details about available programs and next steps.</li><li>Document all interactions using the organization’s CRM system.</li><li>Learn program guidelines, processes, and community resources quickly.</li><li>Maintain confidentiality and follow all nonprofit and social services compliance standards.</li><li>Collaborate with team members and program staff to ensure callers receive timely and appropriate</li></ul><p><br></p>
<p><strong>What We’re Looking For:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Bilingual in English and Spanish (verbal and written) required.</strong></li><li>A passion for helping others and supporting vulnerable populations.</li><li>Strong customer service experience (call center or high-volume phone work preferred).</li><li>Ability to work fully onsite for the first 6 months.</li><li>Comfortable handling a steady volume of inbound calls with empathy and patience.</li><li>Ability to navigate CRM systems and update records accurately.</li><li>Excellent communication, active listening, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Reliable, professional, and eager to learn.</li></ul><p><br></p>
