Payroll Analyst

Our client, a leading organization in the property management industry, is seeking a Payroll Analyst to join their team. This role is critical in ensuring smooth payroll operations for a growing team of dedicated professionals. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy problem-solving, we’d love to hear from you!</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Process and oversee payroll for internal employees across multiple states, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local laws.</li><li>Maintain and update payroll records, including earnings, deductions, benefits, and tax filings.</li><li>Reconcile payroll accounts to ensure proper allocation of wages and deductions.</li><li>Address and resolve payroll discrepancies or issues raised by employees.</li><li>Prepare and submit timely payroll tax filings and assist with year-end processes, such as W-2 preparation.</li><li>Stay updated on changes to payroll regulations that may impact operations.</li><li>Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure payroll integrates smoothly with benefits and accounting systems.</li><li>Provide reporting and data analytics on payroll metrics for management as needed.</li><li>Support internal and external audits by gathering and presenting payroll data.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or a related field preferred (equivalent work experience will also be considered).</li><li>3+ years of experience in payroll processing, preferably in the property management or real estate industry.</li><li>Knowledge of multi-state payroll regulations and compliance requirements.</li><li>Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paycom, or similar systems) and Microsoft Excel.</li><li>Strong understanding of payroll-related concepts such as garnishments, benefits deductions, and tax filings.</li><li>Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.</li><li>Strong interpersonal and customer service skills for responding to employee inquiries with professionalism.</li><li>Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation is a plus.</li></ul>
