Customer Experience Specialist
We are looking for a Customer Experience Specialist to join our team in San Diego, California. In this contract-to-permanent role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional service to individuals seeking assistance through our call center. This position is ideal for a compassionate and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is motivated by helping others.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Handle incoming inquiries by providing accurate information, referrals, and assistance tailored to client needs.<br>• Record and maintain detailed documentation of all interactions within web-based systems.<br>• Stay informed about current services, programs, and community resources to provide up-to-date guidance.<br>• Work collaboratively with internal teams to address client concerns and ensure their needs are met effectively.<br>• Deliver outstanding customer service through clear and empathetic communication.<br>• Utilize CRM and other software tools to manage client information and interactions efficiently.<br>• Assist clients with billing inquiries, benefit-related questions, and general account support.<br>• Operate within established protocols while ensuring adherence to quality standards and service guidelines.<br>• Use chat platforms and other digital tools to support client interactions, as needed.
• Associate’s degree or higher preferred; equivalent education and work experience will be considered.<br>• At least 1–2 years of experience in a call center or customer service environment.<br>• Familiarity with social sciences such as psychology, sociology, or social work is advantageous.<br>• Proficiency in CRM systems, computer programs, and tools like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.<br>• Strong verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on clarity and empathy.<br>• Knowledge of platforms such as Avaya CMS, Epic Software, and other web-based systems.<br>• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is highly preferred.<br>• Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
