We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Salt Lake City, Utah. The position requires a strong understanding of accounts payable processes and the ability to manage invoice coding, payment processing, and related tasks efficiently. Responsibilities: • Process and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy in coding and adherence to company policies. • Manage accounts payable transactions, including Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments and check runs. • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. • Maintain detailed records of accounts payable documentation and ensure proper filing. • Collaborate with internal departments to obtain necessary approvals for payments. • Monitor and update account coding to align with organizational financial structures. • Prepare regular accounts payable reports and assist in audits as needed. • Ensure compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements in all payment activities. • Provide support in streamlining accounts payable processes for improved efficiency.

• Proven experience in accounts payable or a related financial role. • Proficiency in handling invoice coding and payment processing systems. • Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions and check runs. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial documentation. • Excellent organizational and time-management skills. • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with teams. • Knowledge of relevant accounting software and tools. • Understanding of regulatory requirements related to accounts payable.
