Accountant
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Sacramento, California. This role requires a proactive individual with strong organizational skills and experience in handling financial transactions and documentation. The ideal candidate will thrive in a structured environment and demonstrate expertise in various accounting functions.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.<br>• Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring all records are complete and precise.<br>• Prepare and post journal entries for financial activities and adjustments.<br>• Reconcile bank statements to ensure consistency and accuracy in financial records.<br>• Organize and file hard copies of accounting and HR-related paperwork systematically.<br>• Create and manage folders for employee records, including new documentation.<br>• Handle deposits, invoices, and receipts with meticulous attention to detail.<br>• Ensure all financial and HR documents are labeled and organized alphabetically.<br>• Assist in streamlining paperwork processes to improve operational efficiency.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.<br>• Proficiency in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.<br>• Strong knowledge of general ledger and journal entry processes.<br>• Experience with bank reconciliations and financial recordkeeping.<br>• Excellent organizational skills, particularly in filing and documentation.<br>• Ability to handle HR accounting paperwork and employee records.<br>• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in financial transactions.<br>• Familiarity with labeling and organizing systems is a plus.
