Payroll Administrator
We are looking for a skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team in Rochester, New York. In this Contract-to-permanent position, you will oversee payroll operations, ensuring timely and accurate compensation for employees while adhering to tax regulations and company policies. This role also involves providing administrative support to the Human Resources department and assisting with recruitment and employee onboarding processes.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Manage full-cycle payroll processing for multi-state employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.<br>• Address payroll-related inquiries from employees and provide exceptional customer service.<br>• Generate detailed reports and spreadsheets using payroll systems for organizational needs.<br>• Track and maintain records for employee vacation, sick time, and other leave entitlements.<br>• Assist in recruitment efforts, including posting job advertisements, organizing applications, and scheduling interviews.<br>• Facilitate background checks, reference verifications, and onboarding documentation for new hires.<br>• Maintain and update employee records, including benefits, employment status, and performance reviews.<br>• Perform audits and reconciliations related to payroll and benefits, ensuring compliance and accuracy.<br>• Conduct termination processes and assist with exit interviews.<br>• Organize and schedule meetings and appointments to support HR functions.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in payroll management or human resources administration.<br>• Proficiency in full-cycle payroll systems, with expertise in ADP Workforce Now.<br>• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve issues efficiently.<br>• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.<br>• Ability to analyze and interpret numerical data effectively.<br>• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks.<br>• Familiarity with HR compliance and regulations.<br>• Experience in talent acquisition processes and onboarding procedures.
