Payroll Specialist
<p>We are looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team in Redmond, Washington. This role is a Contract-to-continuous position and offers the opportunity to manage payroll processes for a large workforce while ensuring accuracy and compliance. If you thrive in a detail-oriented environment and enjoy working with payroll systems, this is the ideal opportunity for you.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Process payroll three times per month for approximately 800 employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.</p><p>• Manage the complete payroll cycle, including post-payroll funding and reconciliation.</p><p>• Assist with year-end payroll activities, including reporting and compliance tasks.</p><p>• Handle day-to-day payroll operations, which involve manual processes and detailed attention to data accuracy.</p><p>• Utilize Excel for advanced data management, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and formulas.</p><p>• Ensure compliance with multi-state payroll regulations and processes.</p><p>• Collaborate with team members to address payroll-related questions and resolve issues.</p><p>• Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and reporting purposes.</p><p>• Contribute to process improvement initiatives to streamline payroll operations.</p>
<p>• Proven experience in full-cycle payroll management, including multi-state payroll.</p><p>• Proficiency in Excel, with the ability to perform VLOOKUPs, create pivot tables, and use formulas effectively.</p><p>• Familiarity with payroll systems </p><p>• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in payroll processing.</p><p>• Ability to handle payroll for a workforce of over 500 employees.</p><p>• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to asking questions and resolving issues.</p><p>• Knowledge of payroll compliance regulations and year-end reporting requirements.</p><p>• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and address employee inquiries.</p>
