Responsibilities:• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.• Oversee payroll processing while ensuring compliance with federal and state labor regulations.• Monitor cash flow and implement strategies to maintain financial stability and operational efficiency.• Collaborate with leadership to develop and manage annual budgets and financial forecasts.• Prepare and present detailed financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.• Ensure accurate and timely tax filings, adhering to local, state, and federal regulations.• Establish and maintain internal controls and accounting policies to safeguard assets and improve processes.• Coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals to support audits and compliance activities.• Utilize accounting software to streamline processes and enhance data accuracy.• Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making and organizational planning.

Qualifications: <ul><li>5 years of accounting experience, ideally in construction, landscaping, or a related industry.</li><li>Strong knowledge of payroll systems and labor compliance regulations.</li><li>Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar platforms, as well as advanced Microsoft Excel skills.</li></ul>
