Accounting Clerk
<p>Sara Walker with Robert Half is looking for an Accounting Clerk to manage key financial processes and ensure accuracy in all financial records. This role is based in Portland, Oregon, and involves handling accounts payable and receivable, coordinating payroll, and providing administrative support for organizational operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and a customer-focused approach to problem-solving.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Process and maintain accurate records for accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.</p><p>• Coordinate with payroll providers to ensure timely and precise payroll processing.</p><p>• Manage escrow accounts and oversee related financial activities.</p><p>• Serve as the primary contact for external accounting and payroll service providers.</p><p>• Maintain up-to-date billing records and association financial documentation.</p><p>• Assist in preparing for Board of Directors meetings, including recording meeting minutes and distributing materials.</p><p>• Utilize accounting software to track financial data and generate reports.</p><p>• Support general administrative tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.</p><p>• Address financial inquiries from stakeholders with a meticulous and customer-oriented approach.</p><p><br></p><p>Please reach out to Sara Walker with Robert Half to review this position. • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related field.<br>• Proficiency in managing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.<br>• Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.<br>• Familiarity with accounting software and tools.<br>• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.<br>• Ability to communicate effectively with both internal teams and external service providers.<br>• Experience in preparing meeting minutes and supporting administrative tasks.<br>• A customer-service mindset with the ability to resolve financial inquiries professionally.
