What you get to do every single day:• Process and verify accounts payable transactions to ensure accurate and timely payments.• Review and code invoices in compliance with company policies and procedures.• Utilize accounting software systems, including ERP platforms and Concur, to manage financial data efficiently.• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly and effectively.• Prepare and process ACH payments and other electronic payment methods.• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure proper documentation and approvals for all transactions.• Assist with month-end accruals and provide support during audits.• Monitor and maintain accurate records of all accounts payable activities.• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.• Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency.

Other requirements for the Accounts Payable Specialist position include and are not limited to: • Proven experience in accounts payable or a related accounting role.• Proficiency in accounting software systems, including ERP platforms and Concur.• Strong understanding of account coding and accrual accounting principles.• Familiarity with payment processing methods such as ACH and automated systems.• Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
