Responsibilities:• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure accuracy and timely completion.• Prepare and post journal entries to maintain an accurate general ledger.• Perform bank reconciliations to verify account balances and resolve discrepancies.• Handle sales tax returns, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.• Assist with year-end closings, including reconciliations and reporting tasks.• Utilize Great Plains (GPAC) software to manage financial operations and reporting.• Support ad-hoc accounting tasks as needed, demonstrating flexibility and problem-solving skills.• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decision-making.• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting workflows and improve efficiency.

• Proven experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management. • Proficiency in preparing journal entries and performing bank reconciliations. • Familiarity with sales tax regulations and experience in handling sales tax returns. • Strong knowledge of year-end closing procedures and financial reporting. • Hands-on experience with Great Plains (GPAC) accounting software. • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work independently. • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. • Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work with cross-functional teams.
