Benefits Consultant
We are looking for an experienced Benefits Consultant to support open enrollment processes and ongoing benefits administration for a semi-conductors and electric components manufacturer. This long-term contract position is based in Mounds View, Minnesota, and requires a detail-oriented individual with strong expertise in employee benefits, systems administration, and vendor coordination. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring compliance, accuracy, and seamless communication throughout the benefits enrollment cycle.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Configure and maintain benefits systems, preferably Dayforce, to ensure accurate eligibility updates and payroll integration.<br>• Troubleshoot system issues, manage data uploads, and test workflows to prevent disruptions in enrollment processes.<br>• Collaborate with brokers and vendors to address plan offerings and resolve escalated issues efficiently.<br>• Monitor and verify data feeds between payroll systems, benefits administrators, and external platforms to ensure accuracy.<br>• Conduct audits and generate reports to track enrollment progress, identify discrepancies, and confirm compliance with regulations.<br>• Provide training and support for employees, including production staff without computer access, to ensure they can make informed benefits decisions.<br>• Assist with the implementation of the Minnesota Paid Leave Act, including evaluating administrative options and updating current plans.<br>• Support potential projects involving compensation setup in Dayforce and other benefits-related initiatives.<br>• Offer flexible assistance on additional tasks as needed to ensure smooth benefits operations.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in benefits administration or related roles.<br>• Proficiency in benefits systems such as Dayforce; experience with similar platforms like Workday is a plus.<br>• Strong skills in benefits analysis, design, and coordination.<br>• Familiarity with compensation and benefits processes, including compliance and reporting.<br>• Advanced Excel skills for data management and reporting purposes.<br>• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with employees, brokers, and vendors.<br>• Proven ability to troubleshoot system issues and manage complex workflows.<br>• Knowledge of legal requirements related to employee benefits and leave administration.
