Customer Service Representative
We are looking for a motivated Customer Service Representative to join our team in Monterey, California. In this contract-to-permanent role, you will serve as a vital point of contact for customers, ensuring smooth interactions and accurate transactions. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced, non-profit environment.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Process credit card transactions efficiently and accurately during events.<br>• Guide attendees and provide directions to festival locations at the fairgrounds.<br>• Respond to inbound calls and address customer inquiries with professionalism.<br>• Manage outbound calls to follow up on customer concerns or requests.<br>• Handle cash transactions and ensure proper documentation and reconciliation.<br>• Assist with order entry tasks, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.<br>• Collaborate with on-site coordinators to ensure smooth event operations.<br>• Maintain a positive and welcoming demeanor to enhance customer satisfaction.<br>• Adhere to organizational policies and procedures, including dress code and conduct.<br>• Provide feedback and suggestions to improve customer service processes.
• At least 1 year of experience in customer service, call center, or related roles.<br>• Proficiency in handling inbound and outbound calls.<br>• Competence in processing credit card and cash transactions.<br>• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in order entry.<br>• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced event environment.<br>• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.<br>• Familiarity with basic computer systems and software.<br>• Willingness to adhere to company policies, including dress code and conduct.
