Cash Application Specialist
We are looking for a dedicated Cash Application Specialist to join our team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In this long-term contract position, you will play a pivotal role in managing customer payments and ensuring accurate financial operations. This role requires expertise in cash applications and strong attention to detail to support seamless payment processing and reconciliation.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Process and apply customer payments, including checks, wires, and credit cards, using Oracle.<br>• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies by working closely with the collections team.<br>• Maintain and update customer account records while ensuring data synchronization across Salesforce and Oracle systems.<br>• Prepare reconciliation reports and assist with month-end close activities.<br>• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.<br>• Monitor and manage payment workflows to ensure timely and accurate posting.<br>• Provide support for audits and compliance reviews related to payment processing.<br>• Ensure adherence to company policies and financial standards in all cash application activities.<br>• Actively contribute to maintaining strong financial operations through efficient payment handling.
• Proven experience in cash applications and accounts receivable.<br>• Proficiency in Oracle for payment processing and reconciliation.<br>• Familiarity with Salesforce for customer account management.<br>• Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve payment discrepancies.<br>• Ability to generate accurate financial reports and meet deadlines during month-end close processes.<br>• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.<br>• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy in financial operations.<br>• Knowledge of compliance standards and best practices in cash application processes.
