We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in McKinney, Texas. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in ensuring the accurate and efficient handling of financial transactions and vendor payments. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and an excellent attention to detail. Responsibilities: • Accurately process vendor invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. • Perform coding of invoices to the appropriate accounts and verify their accuracy. • Manage regular check runs to ensure timely payments to vendors. • Review and reconcile invoice discrepancies, communicating with vendors as needed. • Maintain clear and organized records of all accounts payable transactions. • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve payment issues and discrepancies. • Assist with month-end closing tasks related to accounts payable. • Ensure adherence to financial controls and audit requirements in all processes. • Provide support in improving accounts payable workflows and efficiencies.

• Proven experience in accounts payable or similar financial role. • Strong knowledge of invoice coding and processing. • Familiarity with managing check runs and payment schedules. • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. • Proficiency in relevant accounting software and tools. • Ability to analyze and resolve invoice discrepancies effectively. • Strong communication skills to collaborate with vendors and internal teams. • Understanding of financial controls and compliance standards.
