We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Maple Grove, Minnesota. In this role, you will handle critical financial tasks, including processing supplier invoices, auditing expense reports, and ensuring compliance with company policies. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the efficient operation of our accounting processes while collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities:• Process supplier invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documents using accounting software.• Review invoices to ensure compliance with sales and use tax regulations.• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve discrepancies related to invoices and supplier statements.• Prepare month-end accruals and create accurate journal entries.• Conduct audits of expense reports and purchase card transactions to ensure adherence to company policies.• Manage daily mail related to accounts payable operations.• Provide guidance and support to end users on expense report procedures and policies.• Participate in special projects and complete assigned duties to enhance departmental efficiency. An ideal candidate will have an Associates Degree in Accounting, Business, or similar with 1+ years of AP experience, or 3+ years of AP experience in lieu of degree. Basic MS Excel experience is also required. This role is primarily onsite, with some flexibility to work from home as needed (upon approval). Beginning pay for this role is $45,000-60,000 depending upon qualifications, with a discretionary bonus potential.
